Timeline of a project:

1. Yes, I can absolutely do that 5 months from now.
2. I should get started soon.
3. I should really get started soon.
4. OMG! OK. Getting started.
5. I will never make this deadline.
6. I must change my name and start a new life in Genovia.
7. Work, work, work, work, work
8. I might actually make it.
9. That was easy!

Repeat.
