I am going to assume the wealthy donors who want their kids healthy are sending their offspring to private schools, so he’s not hurting them, only everyone else.
@StillIRise1963 BTW and NB, Barbara Comstock is trying to pretend that she's a reasonable moderate. This is the rep who fully supported Kavanaugh (a former colleague), and required transvaginal ultrasounds from women seeking abortions. She thinks that women in STEM get sexually abused more because they are not as experienced as non-stem partygoers. I am paraphrasing, but kid you not. She's on video saying that. She ran a very racist and divisive campaign. Ergo, Virginia booted her out of office.
Ending the #American Experiment™, over-seeing the piece-meal destruction of the administrative state, and replacing with a weak #PlagueState is the desired policy goal.
Yeah, this would contribute as it’s something that would force people who otherwise would happily take advantage of the public school system to homeschool or use private schools - if they can afford it and even if they don’t .
That, in turn, means less students and less money for the school.
