New volcanic eruptions north of Grindavîk, Iceland.

• Started at 8.23pm. local (UTC).
• The fissure is ~3.5 km long.
• Fissure location is similar to Dec 19 eruptions.
• Lava flowing south towards Grindavík. Also, west towards Grindavíkurvegur and to the east.
• Grindavîk and the Blue Lagoon evacuated.
• The current eruption is the most powerful in the current system so far, according to geophysicists.
