@atpfm#askatp Is the Apple Studio Display a good purchase today, two years in since launch? In Norway, I can get a second hand one (entry level one) in mint condition for 1300 USD. A brand new one from Apple Norway is 1750 USD (incl taxes). So quite the savings. Is it still a good purchase today at 1300USD or is the tech too old (and not that great to begin with) to be worth it in 2024, and should I rather wait for the Studio Display 2 (with hopefully a better webcam and promotion?)
@torsteinv It would be a bad purchase if Apple plans to update it within 12 months. But Apple is notorious for waiting years and years between display updates, in which case it may be a good purchase for $1,300.
