Reading this and you know, I don't think I've played a single game that required me to do this in, I dunno, long enough that whenever the last one was it's a dim and distant memory.
@Bobbins for a while in 2009-2014 everything had to have that "I lift you up you grab my hand" things to gate you with npc buddies. Haven't seen that in a while, don't miss it
