Here’s an example. This account is a kook who’s been suspended from other instances, trying to back up another kook that did get suspended and had also been suspended before for bigotry. mastodon.world doesn’t give a fuck about it. But I do.
@TonyStark It makes me so angry that this account is still around. Everyone should know that they defend and spread disgusting lies about Jews. Of course it is naive of me to think that people will care once they know, though. But thank you for not giving up.
@littlemiao Although I appreciate boosts and try to give them out, I don’t want or need boosts or interaction from anyone who thinks this is okay. If the instance hasn’t cared so far, I don’t know what will make them but at least I can deplatform from this instance any of the account’s supporters.
I'm not Jewish and even I know those two aren't the exact same. That's like saying the Yankees are the entire MLB.
I also had this guy blocked. When I blocked him, I can't remember, when you have over 1000 blocks like I do that's pretty much impossible to remember.
Sidebar: I used to see guys like this all the time on certain forums. Men willing to use women to bolster their own arguments, but unwilling to help women's causes. I can tell em a mile away.
@kilroy_was_here I suspended him twice from other instances he was on. Federation had lots of benefits but the one big downside is that people who get removed for cause sometimes come back over and over and over. The instance he’s on now isn’t well moderated but I have some followers I like on it. I have so many instances blocked now, it’s a bit tiring but I’m not here for the numbers. Some are.
@TonyStark I've had them blocked for ages as a spammy meme account. It's really disappointing to see such pages on the Fediverse — doubly so if they're using the popular appeal of memes to peddle nonsense.
@Snowshadow Someone I have on my list of accounts to check boosts them. They just did this afternoon. I’m not going to say who that is but they’re done here.

I try to filter out and block people who boost from accounts I have on my block list but sometimes I am tired or distracted and it slips through.

Usually I notice the boosts from blocked accounts but once in a while I miss them..
That's when I rely on my friends to point it out..😉
@Snowshadow I would just ask you privately. I don’t know the account(s) I’m talking about so…like I said the one is a repeat offender. I’d rather not have the boosts from them. Now I won’t.
