h, what the hell
Google Play: “1991 Sonic. The cover? Rotund. Husky. Still fast as lightning. The actual game? 8-bit GLORY 🙌” [Attached photo of a mobile port of Sonic the Hedgehog] Community note: “First, Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) was a 16-bit game, having released on the Sega Genesis. Second, Tails (seen in picture) was not created until 1992, for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, meaning this is not a 1991 Sonic, but rather a later port of the original game.”
Google Play: “1993 Sonic. Ok short king 👏” [Attached image of Sonic from Sonic Boom, one of the tallest Sonic designs] Community note: “This is Sonic as he appears in Sonic Boom, which released on 2014. It is possible that Google Play have confused it for Sonic CD, which did release in 1993 and contains a song called Sonic Boom.”
Google Play: “1996 Sonic. Are those the MSCHF boots???” Community note: “This is not how Sonic was depicted in 1996. This post instead uses the 2020 movie design of the character, seen in the 2013 mobile game Sonic Dash. Sonic games released in 1996 include Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Blast, and Sonic’s Schoolhouse.”
