simon, I received a MagSafe charging stand from a brand called ESR, intended to wirelessly charge AirPods, watch, and phone simultaneously. Actually, to be exact, I bought two of them. One of them was defective, so I went to Amazon to try and return it. Because it was relatively cheap, I wanted to try and reason with customer service and send them a video of the defective item. It would no doubt be thrown away as soon as it arrived, and it would cost me upwards of $20 for transportation to the dropoff location. The problem is, Amazon has made it damn near impossible to reach an actual human through their return center. I went round and round with their bot for 5 minutes, until I finally clicked "I didn't receive the order", and got instantly credited the $70. I feel like I should be feeling some guilt over this, but I'm not. I can now throw it away instead of going out of my way to return it, and I still get the same refund. The other stand works great, and I'd still recommend it.
