@collin Such a personal preference thing! I got a seiko 40 or 42 and was convinced it was going to be too big (I had a 38 prior) and ended up loving it. Being able to try on first is ideal, but hard to come by.
I have a Hamilton Khaki Field that's 42. I could photograph it next to a seiko 38 if you want to see the side-by-side.
@mcphat That would be awesome! I'm going to see if I can try both on. Maybe leaning toward 42. That's still going to be significantly smaller than a 45mm Apple Watch, I'm thinking, so I have that as a comparison.
@mcphat that’s extremely useful! It’s interesting how the series 5 and Hamilton looks similar on the table, but the Apple Watch looks way bigger on your wrist.
@mcphat Definitely. I feel like 38 is a little small and 42 is maybe a little bigger than I want, but 40 seems to be a pretty uncommon size for the watches I'm looking at 🥺
@collin I find that if you could go without your phone sometimes, on those occasions, just bring the watch out is really useful. And then of course the exercise, sleep tracking, alarms etc. It's small enough that I don't get addicted to it.
