New : Automating a with

We recently got a wifi-enabled hot tub. Some enterprising soul had already created a HA addon to work with it, so I set about implementing , and .

Amongst other things, it now starts heating automatically if there's plunge pricing on Agile

I realise this is a bit obnoxious. But it is also true.

An oldie but goodie for -- since it seems to be season, here's the bear that was seen in a hot tub drinking the homeowners about 5 years ago (either Altadena or Monrovia) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJGZi4aj6NM

a black was spotted hanging out in a earlier this evening, until it was rudely interrupted by the police. Per local media "after they arrived on scene, the bear scaled a wall and climbed a tree near the back of the same residence" where apparently it is now. https://www.facebook.com/BurbankPD/videos/1492681674834276/

OK, the burnout has me. Started a couple days ago. I’m not 100% what triggered it, but I think it may have been assisted by the “therapy” experience last Friday. Regardless, I can feel a discord between my brain and body. I’m up today and feel rested but my brain is stuck.

So switching gears to today. Staying home. Light work duty. Maybe a nap. Let’s see if we can ease ourselves into a . If I had a , I’d be in it now.

woes!

These chlorine tablets are great - they have stuff for keeping the pool clear as well, and you put in a floater.

I have used for a long time, and found that I had to close the floater down to minimum and even put tape around it or else there was way too much chlorine in the water. They then last several days, one at a time, and work well.

However, for last month, it has changed. Even two tablets, in floater fully open, the chlorine level in the hot tub is zero.

Ideas?

The hot tub after the garden was actually tidied up, at last.

For those dealing with , has anyone found any relief from using a hot tub?

We're considering one, since we have three people in the house dealing with chronic pain (all different causes, btw). The idea of warm water & jets SOUNDS good, but it's a lot of $$ & effort (we'll hire a lot of it) even to try an inflatable temp installation.
