The bear discourse was WILD.
Any man upset that a woman would pick the bear/oblivious to why she would is a man illustrating EXACTLY why most women would pick the bear, lol.
Noticed something slightly off about the bird feeder this morning. Followed a faintly visible “bent grass" path into the woods, through a muddier section and right over a low point in our notably lame wire fence (to keep dog/chickens in) to find some faint, fresh tracks.
It's been years since a bear has visited and this seems half hearted, maybe because we only have a little bit in the feeder at any point? It didn't have any interest in garbage cans or the nearby chicken coop.

With conscientiousness like this, I am leaning a bit more “Bear” right now.
: )
Alt text. A brown bear walks along a gravel road, moving away from the camera. The bear approaches an upended traffic cone (“witch’s hat”, for those of you from Australia). The bear stops at the traffic cone, turns it upright, then continues walking away.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YnBQEmcAq5Q It's crazy how pretty much every single video or post put up by any woman about the "alone with a #bear or #man" thought experiment gets flooded with men going well-actually about bears, completely missing the point (hence why so many women choose the bear...because so many men are too wrapped in their own egos to understand why most women have to be wary of men for our own safety).
The phrase "#LoadedForBear" means to be prepared to deal with a difficult or challenging situation.
The origin of the phrase dates back to hunting with muskets, where hunters would load their guns with extra gunpowder to have enough firepower to take down a #bear, the most ferocious and hardest to kill predator in North America.
