Endemics Collective is hosting PLANET TKARONTO in Toronto, Canada on June 8, a satellite event for the International Conference on Live Coding 2024.

Live coding is inclusive and accessible to all. We are looking for performers who challenge conventional forms and techniques, disrupting traditional aesthetics and values, and who can engage with the audience directly in the art-or-music-making process, breaking down the barriers between artists and audiences. Performers from underrepresented groups or backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

This collection introduces the principles on which Hydra is based. This sounds theoretical. But this background knowledge helps when you make your first steps in #livecoding.
After that it is about how to code with Hydra. Including examples to try it out.

Gibt es ein Paper in dem das Konzept beschrieben ist wie die Komplexe Zahl auf den RGB Würfel abgebildet wird. Die Funktion colormap sieht für mich allgemein verwendbar aus. Also immer anwendbar wenn ich einen Vektor der Länge 2 auf einen Farbraum abbilden will.
@noneuclideandreamer Für die rechenintensiven Animation verwende ich einen „Gaming Computer“. i9-9900K CPU + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Grafikkarte. Software: Debian GNU/Linux 11 oder 12 und die proprietären Treiber von NVIDIA.

The sound is broken down by SonicPi in an array of ways and then broken down again after it is coded
The visuals take the theme of "Break It Down" by using the SonicPi Editor and breaking it down through a mix of Hydra, OBS & 360 Video.
