Last year I got a from my spouse as a birthday present. It's such a fantastic little machine. Running it natively and maybe the last generation of machines that does? Now with 64bit only Pi5 etc.

Anyhow. I need to explore this OS more and especially BBC Basic which is built in.

Is there any recommended software like particularly good IDE etc. for on RISCOS that I should use?

@xan Looks like a spin on the and subsequent + series...

TBH, I'd love to see a "" @Raspberry_Pi with 32GB RAM in a keyboard case like the but with like a 100% / 122+ -key layout...

@xan I think it looks gorgeous...

Do you really got your hands on a ? or just retrofitted a board into it?

I found the perfect idea for a :

A 100% (122+ keys) board where EVER KEY HAS A DIFFERENT SWITCH!

Force someone to type on that and they'll go completely nuts on hot it fucks with their mind...

This is tech sadism that makes even the most tough people call me a monster!

I've mentioned this but I'm gonna make a real post.

If you are setting up Windows 11, select "English (World)" as your language (English Europe also works), and you will have NONE of the third party bloatware installed.

No Candy Crush, no Netflix, just the first party apps

Please do share this info with anyone who may be setting up Windows soon

@Theholypumpkin @toby I mean it really depends on one's use-case:

For a lot of people, the @Raspberry_Pi Kit is basically all they need to do their computing needs.

Personally I just tend to install @ubuntu / on most systems as it's a distro ( is only available for , & ) and comes with support for basically everything anyone ever asked for - including .
@bunsenlabs is my go-to distro to use on systems.

Raspberry Pi 4: In Deutschland wieder gut verfügbar

It still gonna be November 1st until the 8BitDo keyboard ships in Germany, so I should not get overly excited. But I can't help it.

AHHH! NESBOARD!
