Cherry Audio just released an emulation of the Korg PS-3300, a semi-modular synth from the late 70's. No shade meant here for CA, as I'm a happy user of a few of their products, & their prices are generally reasonable compared to similar products from some others.
However, I know quite well that sometimes even cheap can be too expensive, so if that's the case for you, you may be happy to learn that Full Bucket has a free PS-3300 sim.
It wasn't as straightforward as I hoped, but after some trial and error I finally managed to dual boot on my main machine. So now Kubuntu will take the main stage and Windows will be there for compatibility reasons. Curious to see what Windows soundware I can manage to make usable in Linux 🤔
