'The researchers found that almost 9 million articles on Wikipedia across all languages – around 15% – were orphans, effectively invisible to readers browsing within Wikipedia... In general, pageviews received by non-orphan articles are twice as many as the pageviews of orphan articles.... the researchers also established a cause-and-effect relationship between the addition of in-links to orphan articles and an increase in their pageviews.'
Wikipedia mentions that it's Global Accessibility Awareness Day on the English version's main page, but to create an account on there and many of the Wikimedia Foundation's other projects you have to complete an inaccessible captcha. They offer an option for someone to create an account for you if you can't fill it in, but that's not good enough.

Kann ich die Versionsgeschichte eines #Wikipedia-Artikels irgendwo als durchscrollbare oder durchsuchbare Liste an Diffs sehen?
Mir ist klar, dass ich manuell zwei Versionen diffen kann, aber bei hunderten Versionen dauert das ewig. Ich will alle Diffs hintereinander, wie in git log -p, oder in den Diffs suchen können.
Konkret suche ich den Zeitpunkt, zu dem eine bestimmte Information aus dem Artikel entfernt wurde. Eine zeilenbasierte "Blame"-Ansicht wie in Git wäre fast optimal dafúr.
Czasem czytam artykuł w Wikipedii i od razu widzę, że został napisany jako kryptoreklama jakiejś firmy. Dla odmiany, czytając tekst o disc golfie, czułem, że napisał to ktoś pasjonujący się sportem, komu naprawdę zależało.

En juin, on fera une permanence plus « grand public » et pédagogique avec accueil des nouveaux, nouvelles et personnes curieuses, on fera une comm' un peu plus importante !
