One of the only perfect use cases for #AI writing stuff for me that I can think of: Birthday Cards or Happy Special Occasion to people I've lost touch with and just want to say something generically upbeat.
Come to think of it, I actually had a program like this for my #AtariST computer in the late 80's. It was called Personal Poet. It let you choose an occasion and it would write generic flowery verse for you. It was of course, pretty bad as far as poetry goes, but was entertaining enough to make you weight its earnestness more than its lack of talent.
Also found this Vintage Atari 520 ST Game System Machine on Goodwill. It's currently priced at $60 with the auction ending on May 29. Someday I’d love to get more into the Atari machines, both the 8-bit and 16-bit, they seem to be a bit of a dark horse that could have been much more popular even than they were. Confession of an Amiga enthusiast back in the day: I always liked the black and white hires mode of the Atari ST, which to me looked slicker than even the original Macintosh. And I still love that "printed page" experience of environments like Medley Interlisp.
