Diablo Immortal added a new 'Tempest' class, so it looks like I'll be re-downloading the (huge) app to give it a try like I did when they put out the Blood Knight update.
Diablo Immortal is a decent game considering the base game is free, and I've never paid a dime for it -- I just mess around with whatever new crap they put out for it and I'll eventually delete it again. 😂
I've been getting back into #DiabloImmortal the last couple of days. The new blood knight class is fun! Makes me want to play #DiabloIV though. Refuse to pay £60 for a game though 😂
There's a new class coming to #DiabloImmortal (yes, i still occasionally play it). I can't help but think it might make it's way to #Diablo4 at some point and this is their way of testing out the flavor of it. It's a cool concept so I hope that it is the case.
It figures, I recently uninstalled (the very fun and excellent for casual play - I played it a LOT) Diablo Immortal from my phone just to make a little more room in my storage, and now they're gonna put out this new Blood Knight class on July 13th. Looks like I'll be reinstalling Immortal. Sigh. This is too badass. 😂
"The Blood Knights are a supernatural, melee-hybrid class that are vampiric in nature. Blood Knights are warriors that have been bitten by vampires, but through using an ancient ritual, haven't been fully consumed by the vampire's curse. They don't age, can smell blood from miles away, and have supernatural strength and agility.
...Blood Knights can transform into powerful vampiric beasts to slay their foes. It's a transformative skill that requires players to kill enemies to keep the transformation going, and grants players new skills. When not transformed, Blood Knights also wield halberds alongside blood and shadow magic."
More shots of Diablo Immortal. I play it quite a bit. This is a necromancer character I had just recently started, I think I have her up to around level 14 now. The controls are good and tight, easy to learn, everything about it is pretty cool. (It's on PC too, of course, also free.) And you can even beam it to a TV from your phone and play via wireless controller- something I still need to try. I mostly just mess around with it on my phone. 🤣
Diablo Immortal has some of the most beautiful loading screen art I've ever seen in a game. The other Diablo games do too in some ways, but these are just BEAUTIFUL.
Also, the game is free to play, which is cool, and it doesn't have in-game ads or anything. I feel like it's the most fun, immersive mobile rpg I've ever played. You'll need a strong phone to run it, though. It's big and resource heavy. I have a new Samsung S21, these are screenshots from that. My old Samsung S7 could NEVER have run this properly.
It's interesting to me that so many of us are regular smartphone users now, and we all use them in such different ways.
Figured I'd look at my phone's most used apps as I've never paid much attention to it before. Out of the 55 apps I've used in the last 6 days, yeah, my top 6 aren't a surprise to me at all. 🤣
Some weekends you get a lot done, some very little. I like both kinds. Most of today was the latter, just hanging with the wife watching Netflix and playing Wizorb. I'll probably dream in brick breaking. 🤣 Switching it up tonight with Diablo Immortal, which I can just never quit. I still blows my mind that this S21 can handle a game like this. Pretty detailed and CPU-intensive. I find it crazy fun. I've deleted most games off my phone but Immortal is a must, at, least for me. One of the most wild mobile experiences around (and it's also free on PC).
