What I learned from my day shooting instant film on a manual medium format camera: use a meter or metering app, set ISO to 800, then add a stop-ish of light (if it says f3.5 and 1/60, do f3.5 and 1/15 or 30. All my pics were too bright or too dark before doing this

I had a small amount of unexpected free cash this month and decided to treat myself as it’s been a shitty year.
Bought an Instax Wide 300 instant camera as I’ve been coveting one for ages. Wasn’t fully ready for how chonk it is, but it’s great fun to use.

Whenever I get a new bit of photography gear, the houseplants and our two black cats are the immediate first models. Which is to say that the Mint TL70 Plus arrived yesterday and I'm sorry for the poorly exposed takes of Déjà and her sister Vu. Please enjoy the flowers
