For all the wonderful writers contributing to this shared-world anthology, it really reads like so many extra yards of the Jerry Cornelius novels. The best writing is by Hilary Bailey, who turned a lovely sentence.

Ich persönlich hätte den Elric-Sound auf Deutsch noch ein bisschen Richtung expressionistische Lyrik und Asphaltliteratur geschoben, weil mir das gut zu einem britischen Fantasy-Autor passt, der sich von Brecht beeinflusst sieht,
aber diese Neuübersetzung hier ist klar und aufgeräumt und lässt sich wunderbar laut lesen; sie geht mit dem Atem.
