Learn how to set a data frame column as the index for faster data access and streamlined operations.
In R, utilize the setDT() function from #datatable or column_to_rownames() from #tibble to seamlessly set your desired column as the index. Try it out with your datasets and experience the boost in productivity!

The only thing that comes to my mind are dependencies. Unmaintained packages are a high risk for users and maintainers of dependent packages. That's why I promote #rdatatable . @tyx
The practical thing about #RKWard is that you can enter commands for each session that are always executed. For example, you can use this to load certain packages as standard. Here in the example I use the great library data.table, which is automatically loaded at each start of RKWard.
Hey you out there...
Do you use data.table or tidyverse on R?
I need to have a quick chat about your relationship with these packages to understand community sustainability.
It would be a quick and informal chat!

@stevensanderson In case you need speed (or more features, or more correctness), check out #rdatatable rolling functions (designed after famous {zoo}). Master branch does not have yet all goodies (rollmedian branch is real HEAD for rolling functions), which are pending in PRs. Hopefully all will be merged later this month, before the talk in EdinbR. Can share slides after.
