I've used #Suunto watches for ~20 years but 1.5 years ago I switched to a #Samsung Galaxy watch 5 Pro because I wanted an everyday watch with #WearOS that I could also use as a fitness watch. I'm going back to Suunto. I like the Samsung but I just don't use any of the WearOS apps that I thought I would use. And the Suunto is so much better for sports tracking and adventure. Not that the Galaxy watch is bad at run tracking, it's just not nearly as good as the Suunto.

My mom tries to #bluetooth pair her smart watch and her phone. But every time she enters the correct validation code in her phone, the watch denies the #pairing.

Pytanie do użytkowników #AppleWatch. Jak używacie zegarka podczas jazdy na rowerze? Ja próbowałem użyć go, montując w uchwyt na kierownicy, ale chwilę po zamontowaniu się zablokował. Wpisałem kod, ale po chwili znowu blokada (nie wykrył nadgarstka). Wyłączyłem kod PIN, myśląc że to rozwiąże sprawę. A tylko pogorszyłem sytuację, bo odłączyły mi się karty z Apple Pay a zegarek i tak się wygaszał. Da się go jakoś ustawić tak, żeby cały czas był włączony i ekran się nie wygaszał?
@ssamulczyk Jeżeli chodzi o czujnik, to działa dobrze z #Suunto bike sensor, wprawdzie próbowałem z aplikacją #Workoutdoors. Jedyne z czym mam problem to właśnie wygaszanie się po chwili. A czas pracy? Jak wytrzyma do 4 max 5h, będę zachwycony.
This is the first time I hit the enshittification wall of not being able to find alternatives to accessing a device due to it lacking linux support. Usually I can get away with setting up a Windows VM, but not this time.
So Suunto, shame on you that the only way to interact with the new Vertical watch is through an Android/iOS application which doesn't even work in emulators/VMs.
