Everyone has to be out by Friday at noon MDT. At least 5000 evacuees will arrive in #yyc. Flights start at 1 pm Thursday. Yellowknife Hospital is closing units and negotiating medivac flights with SK, AB, and BC… whoever can take patients.
The mayor of Yellowknife has handed control of the city to the NWT government.

For folks not familiar, it's a 15-hour drive (if you're lucky) from #Yellowknife to St. Albert, just outside of Edmonton, where the closest reception centre is.
Tonight in #StAlbert what I heard at the doors was that folks just can't trust Danielle Smith. Folks are looking to Karen Shaw and @RachelNotley for stability and a leader they can trust.
