Why are cops using force to stop a high school band from continuing to play at the end of a football game?

Ramaswamy suggests including physical fitness on the SAT which seems on its face to be ridiculous.

“a 1-mile run, pull-ups, sit-ups, shuttle run, etc.”

What does this tell a college or university about the student? Does it have any bearing on how the student would perform at the school? I could see this for specific cases, such as a military academy school, but as part of a general test?

Honestly curious if I am missing something? 😉
