I have followed the #TrumpTrial pretty closely & my takeaway from today is that it is effing appalling that #Trump, his admin, & his #DoJ in particular, stand credibly accused by #Cohen of obstructive & corrupt activities far beyond anything charged here, & the faux pious #Speaker of the US House is there to bless all of it. Just shocking. #msnbc

One problem the prosecution faces, imo, is that nobody understands what is & is not legal with regard to money & politics. It is ALL so unsavory, especially since Citizens United, it is hard to take 130k very seriously.

On top of that, ppl have such low opinions of politicians & media, it is easy to imagine cynicism setting in. I hope the patient & simple demeanor of earnest prosecutors can overcome the seediness & fog.

Make sure EVERYONE you know is aware that it is TRUMP's Court that overturned abortion rights in the USA.

Don't assume people know what Roe & Dobbs are. They don't. Refer to it as

Don't assume people know how presidencies & court appointments work. A LOT of Americans think whoever is president controls this.

They won't know it was Trump who did this unless you tell them.

People care, but they don't necessarily follow politics or know who to blame or support.

When I go to READ the newspaper now I find videos instead. I don't want to watch some longwinded video. I want to skim the article fast. These are videos with no transcript. Wtf good is that? It is bad enough the news is full of junk & ads & fake subheads that are ads for some other article, but now even the is a video site.

just did a segment on the status of things in the US exactly 4 years ago today, when toilet paper was depleted, store shelves were empty, & nobody had PPE. He should do that segment every week from now til the election. Let us all revisit the unspeakable dying in NY, the morgue trucks, the potters' fields, & all the idiotic statements of Mr. Trump. The Repubs keep saying we were all better off 4 years ago. Let's see, . Let us all see & decide, weekly.

When I see "before and after" pictures of restyled people, places, & things, I frequently prefer the before. Not always, but often. Oh, you have high water pants on now. Ah, a face lift. Oh, you painted your kitchen in prison colors & took out all the trees for grass...Not sure if it is the alienation of aging, the proliferation of hard, colorless designs, a sad sense that people often make themselves & their things over out of anxiety not for refreshment, or just a matter of different tastes.

Don’t give up on Florida. This year our wildly popular Amendment 4 should be on the ballot, bringing abortion access back to Florida, & organizers are working hard on to be sure it passes. Also, our fraudulent US Senator Rick Scott has never campaigned in a Presidential year, & he is going to face quality Democratic competition. We are purple, not red.

If the Biden WH calls a meeting & says the threat is serious, it is serious.

If the GOP makes the info the WH supplied available 24 hours before the meeting in order to scoop the National security team, the threat info is about Russia & the GOP is spilling it to Putin’s BFFs & alerting Trump.
