I am against Hamas & Hezbollah. I am also against anti-antisemitism. To me, Islam is as dangerous to the people I love worldwide as Christianity. Apart from a handful of small liberal sects that I appreciate, both are whatever the religious analogy is to xenophobic. It's been my experience that Judaism is the opposite; self-constrained w/ only small conservative sects.

But now Netanyahu & his government show no sign of intending to slow down before he eliminates Palestine. This has become a slaughter. How many innocent civilians & refugees must he kill before the world says, "enough"?

Yet another study that mentions as a side detail hardly worth noticing that trans women start off before blockers & hormones with lower bone densities more like women than men. The first paper I remember was from perhaps 2017.

At some point, someone is going to pick up where things were left off 15 years ago, and realize that a statistically significant number of trans people have a statistically significant number of body traits that don't fit the sex/gender they were assigned at birth. There are hundreds, but for the curious another obvious one is 2D:4D digit ratio. Less obvious externally are 20+ brain sites. Zoe Brain's site was (still is?) a treasure trove of citations.

So, my spouse and I went to the store during my lunch. I turned the vehicle into a parking spot but had to stop & straighten out to make the turn. Just as I was cranking the wheel around after stopping but before backing up, I must have hit the phone buttons on the steering wheel because the car suddenly spoke up with perfect timing and said loudly, "Try again!" while displaying the same on the console. I think that vehicle is starting to grow on me. She's sassy.

Graham's, it may be important to keep in mind that most conservative Christians see themselves and by extension, the USA and Israel, to be in a winner takes all religious battle with Islam. The two have been waging a religious cold war over the African continent for many centuries and Israel is a strategic island in the Middle East.

Sadly, I just stopped following Church of Jeff. The account just posted a long, multi toot rant about people who let him know they don't boost funny memes that don't have Alt Text because it leaves out anyone visually impaired or who uses a screen reader.

Like, either ignore them and keep doing what you are doing, accepting that your "reach" won't be a big as your ego wants, or add alt-text? Also, it's ethically wrong to exclude people who need alt-text just because you don't feel like typing.
