There’s a few for me. Yamok sauce. Various synthohols. The desserts Troi’s always eating (or being). But most especially gagh. I wouldn’t let the fact it’s some kind of living worm distract me from the way all the cool people describe it. If Riker likes it, I think I would too and I certainly wouldn’t want to look like...
Our bard got a magic item that let them cast Wall of Thorns before we would normal have access to a spell that high level. We used it on a boss pretty much immediately to trap it in one side of a room while we mopped up the rest of its adds that didn’t get killed by the Wall. The boss we were fighting was a bug queen. What we didn’t know was that, while we were fighting the first adds, it spent the whole time spawning more behind the wall, since it didn’t have any other actions it could spend. That did not go well lol
It was our first TPK, most of us were new to the game, and we put a lot of focus on RP, so the DM gave us the choice if we actually wanted each of our characters to die, or if we’d prefer to be Deus ex Machina’d. I was the only one that chose to let their character die. My warlock had made his pact initially as part of a deal to save his sister who was crushed in a cave-in. He decided to swear more oaths, fully giving his soul for eternity to his patron, in exchange for saving the lives of his friends.
It was a pretty cool way for him to go out, and now he gets to be an antagonist later. That’s going to be interesting, because our bard took up his fake religion out of a desperation to know that he went to a better place
They do know, and they love you back. Cats consider humans they live with to be a part of their pride. They basically think we’re big, ugly, clumsy cats lol
Finished Starsight by Brandon Sanderson. Second book in Cytoverse series. Loved the way the series progressed, though didn’t liked the post-ending much. Going to start the novella soon....
Skyward Flight is fantastic. As are the next two novels in the series. I just finished Defiant a couple weeks ago. Brandon did such a good job concluding the series, I’m so hyped for Stormlight 5’s conclusion. I’m also very excited to see how Janci continues in Skyward Legacy.
I just started Greencloak by Lyndsey Luther, which sounds like it’s going to be a fun high fantasy novel in a unique setting. She’s also the person Lyn in the Stormlight Archive is based on
I’d be interested in the backgrounds of the people answering this question too. I come from a poor family, and spent the first few years of my working life doing manual labor, and this attitude absolutely baffled me. I have a work from home desk job in tech now, where I routinely have hours of downtime, and I’ve been loving it. This is the best my mental health has ever been. I’m getting time to read my miles long backlog of books, and develop skills I wouldn’t have time for otherwise. I don’t reach the end of the day exhausted to the point where all I have to look forward to is sleep, and then doing it all again, like I used to. I have an under-desk treadmill for exercise, and I’m eating healthier and saving money because I’m feet from my own kitchen, and I have the time to cook real meals while at work. I hope to continue increasing my salary, but I think I would be happy doing this same work for a very long time.
I need to get a bottle of the Star Trek Wines Kanar. Not because I care about the wine, but so I can put my own liquor in it. I think Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro fits the bill perfectly. Dark brown and viscous, with a floral nose, like is mentioned on Memory Beta, and bitter and smoky, making it an acquired taste. A taste I have very much acquired

Surprising to see a Republican actually admit it though. He must be trying to pull a Mitt Romney, and hoping to get some moderate votes, hoping they’ve forgotten everything he’s done to damage the country
I was a huge anime fan back when i was younger, around 2017ish i switched to reading a lot of light novels instead. So hundreds of books later im having more issues finding anything to read. But i also have a lack of interest for non anime books and its rather annoying. I read through a song of ice and fire a while ago and loved...
You’ll love the Stormlight Archives then. It’s very anime. Crazy magic powers and giant super swords. Most of the fandom thinks the best way to do a TV adaptation would be to animate it
Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is another one I think you’ll especially like. It’s inspired by Hikaru no Go, Your Name, and Final Fantasy 10
Hello all! I mostly use StoryGraph (my name is creadstoomuch if you wanna be friends), but I was wondering what other options y’all have found that work for you. There are many things I like about it (the fact that it is not an Amazon product, the design, the stats, the currently reading tracking abilities) but there are also...

How long does a co-op BG3 run last? We have been playing for 38 hours and I'm not sure how far we are from the end (files.catbox.moe)
Don’t get me wrong, I like the game, but I think it might be better suited for either solo players, or coop players who don’t have children
