I like minimalism but I'm also a woman addicted to flowers. Gosh, I love them all and I love to photograph them. I love old manual lenses also. It's a perfect connection - flowers and my beloved Pentacon 50 mm, mainly wide-opened.

Trying to arrange my life anew, a little more on my terms than before, I increasingly turn to simplicity, in life and photography. Losing a job wasn't nice, but maybe something good will come from it. I'm a bit scared at the moment, but I'm optimistic. Besides, I finally have more time to get to know Mastodon, and since yesterday also Pixelfed.

The older I am the less I am impressed by a lot of stuff. Maybe that's why I became interested in the wabi-sabi style and a simpler way of life. In the context of a simple life, Wabi-Sabi encourages us to savour the moment, find contentment in the ordinary and focus on what truly matters. This fall I am discovering the profound beauty of autumn leaves and I did not expect that it would be an almost poetic journey.
