Nigella are my kinda plant. They self seed wherever there's a spot & look good with everything. So low maintenance, at no point do you have to put down your glass of wine. @gardening

Back to working a Jennifer Beale pattern. The shoulder saddle has been blocked & one side, front or back, done to the joining at the armholes. This pattern could be versatile in creating all sorts of different garments by changing the neck, adding sleeves, using different yarns to make it winter worthy, putting in cables rather than lace, doing a different lace pattern, on & on. It has a colourwork panel once the 2 sides are joined & even that can be adulterated. @knitting

After a day of non-creative, left brained, unwanted but necessary adult dealings totally devoid of emotion, I've had to put down my wonderous Jennifer Beale knitting patterns & settle into some calming stockinette stitch. Beautiful yarn, isn't it? Merino & silk blend. Saga & Mlle DoodleFace both approve. @knitting

Look at that colour in the foxtails. From a distance, it looks more yellow with perhaps a tinge of red. @gardening
