In 2020, Apress published my first book, 'Arduino Software Internals'. My second, 'Arduino Interrupts' was published in Dec 2023. I'm writing another as well as a 2nd edition of 'Internals' to document recent changes.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to another week. Yes, I'm afraid Monday is with us. And so is the rain. It's good to be home! I'm just heading out with Wesley for an hour or more, so no doubt we will get wet. Oh hum!

Your day will, of course, be much better than mine, so get out there and have fun. Yes, you can have fun on a Monday, my late mum said so!

Good morning fellow Mastos and welcome to a very chilly Tuesday. Google sent me a weather alert just now, apparently it's going to snow. It's certainly cold enough at the moment, my thermometer reads 3°C.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to a somewhat moist Friday. At least it was dry, and surprisingly warm, at midnight when Wesley took me out for a poo in my dressing gown. A strange place to have a poo! 😉 have a grand day today everyone and a shout out to all the @weirdfolks and their love of puns!

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to Sunday. A supposed day of rest, but MrsD is dragging me out for a wander around the river at Knaresborough and the, horror of horrors, to the shops. 😟 Are we shopping for anything in particular? Of course not, just for a "mooch". Women shop all wrong! 😉

The remote control for the TV where we are staying tonight worked long enough to turn the TV on, and no longer

There are no channel changing or volume control buttons on this JVC. Not even a power button!

What to do?

Found "TV remote" app on my phone, programmed it for this JVC and all is well again.

Will buy a couple of AAA batteries tomorrow.

Today's random photo is another Apple Blossom one. This is a small tree I grew from the seed of a Pink Lady apple. It has of course "reverted to type" and is a crab apple now. After 25 years, in 2023, it flowered and produced a single crab!

Yesterday's bath leak fixing job seems to have been a success! MrsD and I shared a bath last night (TMI?) and there were no leaks during bath time or afterwards when the plug came out! 👍
