Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to a horrible, dark, miserable, wet, rainy and windy Monday. Again!

Wesley has decided that he is definitely not going out in it, until he absolutely has to. He, and I may not have a choice later though.

MrsD is going to Scarborough with her walking group for their annual 3 day "walking the coast" trip. Wesley and I are staying home.

One of my lizards was a bit highly strung, all the time. I took her to the vet who examined her and prescribed animal valium. Three tablets to be taken. It worked! She's a calmer, calmer, calmer chameleon now.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Tuesday. We are back to frosty again today. Should be interesting after yesterday's rain! Take care out there it might be slippery especially as the council rarely grits the pavement. 😐

Today's random photo is from April 2010 shot on an old Sony-Ericsson phone. I rescued a bumble bee from the cold, warmed it up and you can see it feeding on sugar solution here as I had no honey to dilute. It survived!

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Monday. MrsD is walking again today and she's taking Wesley. She's also taking me!!! Hmmm. Hopefully not the 10 and 12 miles that she did last week! My arthritis won't stand for that. Also, thunderstorms predicted for later. Oh hum.

A large hole appeared in the M62 near Leeds during the night. Police are looking into it.

Someone stole all the dog handling equipment from our local police station. They have no leads.

Our local police station was robbed. Someone stole all the toilets and urinals. Police have nothing to go on.

I'm interested in knowing from people who have an EV and who have a garage attached to their house.

Given how nasty an EV battery "fire" aka Thermal Runaway, can be, do you park your EV in the garage attached to the house?

I have a garage under the bedrooms. I'm considering an EV when I next buy a new car, but I'm not keen on the "fire" hazard. (My brother is a fireman. He knows this stuff!)
