@theleavingyear just Googled “alcazars”. Looks really beautiful! I love old buildings. I visited a couple of them near Maceió (Brazil) last week. I’m looking forward to visiting Spain one day.

@theleavingyear Brazil is beautiful. There are many amazing places here! I think foreigners usually want to come to either São Paulo or Rio, but there’s so much more you can explore. I’d love to visit a place like the one you described. I love living museums.

Morning, word people!

Back at the editing, bright and early (for me, anyway). Let's see how many pages I can get through before my eyes or brain tell me they're done working for today.

Something to think about as you're editing a piece that will be read aloud: Should the words be swapped around, to make it read smoother? Should a proper name be replaced by a pronoun or a different reference for the person/place? There are no right/wrong answers. Just options to consider.

Miaow not eating again. Not even treats. Checked for the previous episode. Three good days then one bad. Sigh. There is no difference in what he eats, that I can tell, unless of course someone else feeds him. But tbh I don’t even know for sure if it’s his pancreas or his kidneys giving him trouble.
