Why does this remind me of an old way to rise in the ranks of search engines?
It was possible to influence search engines by having text that's colored the same as the background color in the early days of automatic indexing webpages.

Talks at user groups or conferences are infotainment. While information and structure are important in a talk and the main reason why someone wants to see it, it's also true that the attention span of people differs and also depend on the event:
People come right after work to user groups. Maybe being already a bit tired or they had a bad day.
People go from one talk to another at conferences, always trying to keep up their concentration.
@SenseException I have been there too, and moved to Deployer after a short time.
Was quite challenging to follow with their development branches proposing fixes or new features.
I had a couple of PRs open... but lost traction, and switched to Deployer :)
I'm back using #Impress.js again, but nothing that will be a presentation at public events.
Brainstorming:
I'm considering using it for presentations for short videos that I can share. I experienced that some people learn better with videos than text.
