Most of 4chan has nothing to do with politics or propaganda. The ones that are reposted mostly all come from two boards. /b/ and /pol/. Also your reddit comment is weird cause reddit is just full of bots now.

@linux Sharing a 'small' inconvenience I had to fix with (I suspect is the same) - I couldn't launch snaps (spotify, bitwarden) after update - error was: cannot determine seccomp compiler version in generateSystemKey fork/exec /usr/lib/snapd/snap-seccomp: no such file or directory

The fix (I first tried re-installing, didn't work) was to:
a. locate snap-seccomp - was in /usr/libexec/snapd
b. symlink: ln -s /usr/libexec/snapd /usr/lib/snapd

Authoritarianism has nothing to do with economic systems and everything to do with government structure. The Soviet bloc/China and other communist countries were authoritarian because the populous allowed their governments too much power. China is ultra capitalist now and they’re as authoritarian if not more so.

People remember communist countries as more authoritarian because they’re the more taught examples. Pinochet was a turbo capitalist and he was one of the most authoritarian rulers in history.

How come liberals dont hate conservatives the way conservatives hate liberals

I constantly see angry mobs of people decrying “woke”, “critical race theory”, ““grooming””, and whatever other nonsense they made up this week. They march around with guns, constantly appending lib as a prefix to any word they can use to denigrate. They actively plot violence and spew hatred in the open....

Seen a lot of posts on Lemmy with vegan-adjacent sentiments but the comments are typically very critical of vegan ideas, even when they don’t come from vegans themselves. Why is this topic in particular so polarising on the internet? Especially since unlike politics for example, it seems like people don’t really get upset by...

Its not power shell but this is a set of wargames based around linux shell. I find it super useful for teaching. Its super beginner friendly.

The rest of them are offsec focused but I’d try finding some kind of 30 days of coding challenges or something like that for scripting. Actually learn by doing instead of having someone ramble on about theory.
