Russian media published an interview with the commander of the Black Sea Fleet Viktor Nikolayevich Sokolov, talking about the Black Sea Fleet operations.

I still doubt he is alive as there is no mentioning of the attack on Sevastopol to prove the Ukrainian intel is wrong.

When will Russia run out of equipment?

Before the war, Russia had
16,199 tanks of which Ukraine now claims to have destroyed 4,662.

So in theory, we are about 29 percent through the Russian tank stocks in 19 months, indicating the war could potentially last 4 more years.

However, Russia will lose long before that, as we have already seen Russia introduce World War II era equipment on the battlefield, while Ukraine is receiving more and more modern equipment.

@VikingChieftain @recker5 @randahl they are right about the new production. The 29% does include newly produced replacements that are destroyed. But the newly produced ones are not included in the 16k stockpile. However, that 16k stockpile also includes tanks that are not in any shape to join the war.
