@amiserabilist@Mrfunkedude Peertube should work for video, it might work for audio too. If not, even just a plain ol' mastodon server can be used to publish a podcast since each user profile has an rss feed (just add .rss to the end of the URL).

@amiserabilist I have this "theory" that no one "follows" more then a hundred people no matter how many people they've followed.
It's simply a matter of time management. Between what people boost and what they post on their own, 100 people can EASILY produce thousands of posts at any given time. Now imagine if that's 500 people. 1000? You may as well be following the federated timeline at that point.
And forget about it if you follow hashtags as well.
