I paid for a month subscription of Ivory for Masrodon app.
This is the best and most fluid experience for Masrodon by far in iOS and macOS. However it is sometimes difficult to justify yet another subscription for a tool that eats my free time, also with so many free alternatives around.

What app do you use to read your Masrodon feed? Or do you only use the web interface?

I’ve rearranged the content of the cargo roof box with the kids bike trailer and shitload of beach toys, portable chairs, etc… I hate the idea of and keeping it clean… Unfortunately, we, the family of 5 go to the seaside for a week. We have to also take the stroller, portable bed for newborn and 3 bicycles… So, let the Tetris commence!🤡

I’ve just watched a YouTube video about Pixel Fold and they said Samsung dominated foldables market… Dude, there is no foldables market. That’s a niche. And to dominate something there must be a competition first…😂🤡

It's really awesome that most mastodon users agree that we should do something about . Now, most of you are city dwellers, and half of urban GHG emissions are from (half of all car trips are under 3 miles), so what are you doing about it? Step 1: at least try to get somewhere without a car (like if existed) so you can see how bad it is, Step 2: yell at your public officials (and fix your city/state voting method).

Step 3: What did I miss?

@enobacon Step 3: reduce consumption. Whether it be electricity, water, heating, food, clothes, … there’s always potential to buy less, eat something else more sustainable, or find new ways you heat the house.

I've said this before and I'll say it again and it's going to stay true until your city finally pulls on the easiest lever to make drivers go around the block sometimes and actually prioritize trips by bike with the low-stress connected we will only ever have the space and time and money to build when we take back some of what we spent making cars dominate all urban space.

@enobacon @notjustbikes I agree totally. Here in Germany cars are extremely dominant and drivers see it as a personal threat when they have to give up one lane or when parking spaces become bike lanes or street terraces. It’s a war. ☹️ Unfortunately politicians are too hesitant and often enough aren’t willing to change anything at all.
