    Since moving from Arch to Void I've toyed with other Wayland based window managers like Sway and River which I have to say the latter is very good. But do you never sometimes feel at home when trying 100% to feel settled in with another WM ?
    Recently though on the Qtile package was updated and now you can sudo xbps-install -S qtile-wayland and OMG I'm home ! 😍
    Time to update and fix the bugs in my old configs.

    @JustineSmithies Nice! I've been working with Bookworm pre-release on my Pi. First got my X11-based environment working, now time to see what all the wayland hoohah is all about. Looks like sway is in Bookworm, but no River. Unfortunately, anything else will be a huge change after using X11 with icewm for (gasp!) 20+ years

    A simple repair at https://twitter.com/ComputerHistory. The IBM 729 tape drive provided bulk storage on a 2400 ft reel of magnetic tape. But one of the lights on the control panel burned out. It uses an obscure 55-volt telco bulb in an unusual package.

    The light bulb is in a metal holder with a pointed plastic end.

    @kenshirriff OMG! 729 tape drives! We had 4 of them on our DEC-10 at U Illinois Physics when I was there. I'm amazed that they're still around 50 years later 😮

    And, more near term, It's gonna be interesting on the way to that conviction when he starts trying to mobilize his maroonic followers to rise up against the DOJ.
