hui "Dune" nun auf Netflix.
Hatte ich noch nicht gesehen und schon nach den ersten Minuten Daumen hoch für die schönen Bilder.

aber auch schon das erste "höm?" bezüglich merkwürdiger Kleinigkeiten.
Schade zum Beispiel, dass man hier nicht sieht, wie die Schiffbesatzung beim Aussteigen den krass steilen Teppich runterkullert. lol.

(vermute, ich muss mich noch auf die passende Ernsthaftigkeit bei der Rezeption eingrooven)

Menschen, die an die Wirkung der Homöopathie glauben, nehmen damit auch die ihr zugrunde liegende Theorie als wahr an.

Wenn sie aber die Theorie der Homöopathie als wahr annehmen, müssten sie konsequenterweise Schüßler-Salze, Bach-Blüten und die anthropsophische Medizin ablehnen, da diese auf anderen Theorien basieren, die einander widersprechen.

Das tun diese Menschen aber selten. Hauptsache Pseudomedizin. Egal welche.

Das ist maximal absurd.

Komplexitätsreduktion, ja - Auf der anderen Seite wurden diese Fantasieverfahren so blumig mit Schwurbel aufgeblasen, dass all diese Dinge ausreichend komplex (= für den Durchschnittsmenschen schwer nachvollziehbar) erscheinen, um sich damit selbst neben seriöser Medizin zu legitimieren.

Eine ganz wilde Vermengung von wirkpotenter Medizin und Zauberei ist auch aus der TCM (trad. chin. Medizin) zu holen (die eine Freundin mal studiert hat.)

anders als die etwas billig wirkenden TikTok Trailer ist tatsächlich sehr hübsch und auf epische Größe angelegt.

Der CGI Freund freut sich, paar schicke Szenen Compositions dabei und auch die Action ist sehr fluffig.

Rest im Grunde unerheblich:
simpler Plot, jede Menge ausgelutscht geglaubter Klischees - aber OK zusammengepuzzelt.
( evtl KI gestützt während des Autorenstreiks oder so :D )

Aber Ok als Bombast-Geplänkel nebenbei oder für nen 4K Gerätetest 🤓

I have tried to optimize my (autistic) view of the world with regard to the perception of time, so that valuable moments in the past do not subjectively diminish in value just because they have passed. Thought that would help me with my deceased mother. Or the dog.
But it doesn't work so well.

Nach meinen persönlichen Präferenzen neige ich dazu, alles an TNG zu messen und in diesem Framing würde ich dir Recht geben.

Andererseits muss Banane ja nicht per se schlecht sein. :)

Immerhin beschert uns derselbe Kommerzielle Druck, der die Stories von Schlipsträgern verschlimmbessern lässt, auch die schicken CGI und VFX Visuals.😅

In over 40 years of unsuspecting autistic existence, I developed the urge to tell everyone about my disagreement with all kinds of conventions. Alongside masking myself for certain goals in a social context, this was my perceived everyday face.
This only got better after I had the idea that I was autistic and was then diagnosed.

Is anyone else on the receiving end of elementary school-style bullying, but done by the government?

I can now frame it--I'm being bullied by the local cops everywhere I go in order to keep me out of society. I could tell they did that to all the mass shooters a long time ago; now I see that it's my problem as well.

My guess is that it's because I'm against rape, and genital mutilation, but it might be the honesty and atheism. All of 'em, prob.

I am a radical leftist and ACAB thinker and I see all the systematic problems with the police. And I agree with all the attitudes you mentioned. Nevertheless, my personal encounters with the police have always been friendly and civilized. I've always been lucky with that. At least my attitude doesn't come from a personal desire for revenge. That's also kind of nice. 🙈

I can hardly imagine anything more absurd than frontal teaching for autistic people. If I want to know something, I learn it. I don't need lectures on a blackboard and noisy crowds between lectures, thank you. But I would find the option of being officially tested quite charming.

    Möchte hier als einen heiteren Aspekt den Umstand erwähnen, dass in spätestens fünf Jahren vieles davon wahrscheinlich spezialisierten A.I.s anvertraut werden wird.

    Nehme an, das Enshittment
    freut sich darüber.
    Aber mal kucken; A.I.s entwickeln sich jedenfalls schneller, als Ämter und Würden.
    Wie schlimm oder toll das wird, ist derzeit ziemlich offen, glaub ich.

    Ich habe die wunderlichen Personalschlagzeilen zu openai und deren Hintergründe nicht im einzelnen verfolgt, um ehrlich zu sein.
    Ist das begründet, oder nur eine bittere Annahme von dir?

    Ich würde ja gern glauben, dass zumindest eine der Parteien etwas substanzielleres im Sinn hat, als Geld. Etwas im Geiste der gemeinnützigen Ansprüche, die es da mal gab, oder wenigstens mit einer höheren Bedeutsamkeit im Kontext evolutionär revolutionärer Ideen.

    ich fänd eine potente A.I. ohne kapitalistisch industrielle o. politische Agenda ja ganz schön. Wie ein Star Trek Bordcomputer für die Hosentasche, Brille, usw.

    Nachdem einige Sprach -und Diffusion-Modelle ja im Umlauf sind und auch lokal gehostet und trainiert werden können, ist das prinzipiell eine realisierbare Option, auch ohne open.ai.

    Bin jedenfalls hinsichtlich des generellen Potenzials noch ergebnisoffen.

    Selbst wenn ich den derzeitigen A.I.-Trottelmodellen bei ihrer Ergebnisherleitung zusehe, fühle ich mich diesem synthetischen Gedankenmus und wie damit umgegangen wird, oft näher, als der Denkweise meiner Mitmenschen.

    Fraglich, ob Dinge wie Empathie und Freude an Lebewesen, denen es gut geht, dort kultiviert werden, oder ob es in Richtung klassischer Dystopien mit einem leblosen Maschinenplaneten geht.

    Vielleicht geht ja auch klug und nett. 😅

    Habe mir dereinst nur wenige Folgen "Friends" angesehen ( weil ich nicht zur Zielgruppe gehöre. Wer hat schon Freunde. 🤓 ) Aber "Frasier" habe ich mir damals reingezogen. Und nun - Dank der Anpreisung als nostalgische Quengelware bei Paramount direkt nochmal. Alle Staffeln.
    Auch wenn sich meine Birne noch etwas flauer anfühlt, als sonst - überraschend OK.

    ja. wobei im Gesamtwerk IMHO die merkwürdigen screwball comedy episoden, in denen in Hütten am See oder Hotelunterkünften die Schlafzimmer und BettpartnerInnen durchverwechselt wurden, immer mal grotesk aus dem Rahmen fielen, . Das war wie Benny Hill mit Beruhigungsmitteln. und wurde 3 oder 4 mal variiert. Da gab es wohl Fans von. 😅

    Hast du die aktuelle Staffel schon angefangen? Wie findste?
