Today is the 14th anniversary of the Citizens United ruling by SCOTUS which has had disastrous consequences.

Billionaires and corporate special interests have hijacked our court and bought the far-right justices.

I’ve been a public defender for 14 years and I can tell you how rare it is for a grand jury not to indict.

That’s because this case was absolute bullshit.

Shame on the prosecutor who brought this case and had her arrested and charged in the first place.

There is no “justice” system.

Today, Trump Org CFO Weisselberg is being sentenced to five months jail.

On a five month sentence, he'll serve approximately 100 days.

As a public defender in Manhattan, I represented a man who was sentenced to 3-6 years (and will serve 1500+ days) for stealing a jacket.
