@xgranade The benchmark does have its own screenshots folder and it automatically takes some on preset points (including one on the score screen) so you can go back and check if the resolution was correct on your previous runs.

@xgranade Check if your rendering resolution is set to 100. If not, it will apply FSR/DLSS scaling (the setting can't be turned off so you'll see it next to the score but at 100% it won't have an effect).
It should be a resolution setting bug and not an issue with scaling, my screenshots are properly 2560x1080

@odoben @arch If you have a server with some small spare space put a Quassel server on it. Then you can have its client running anywhere.

thesis:

  • optimal furcon awakeness schedule is about midday to 4am, an offset of about 4h from regular working hours.
  • for eurofurs going to america, this stacks on top of the timezone change, for an effective time difference of about 9/13 hours (east/west coast resp.), leading to significant jetlag.
  • for amerifurs going to europe, the two effects are in opposite directions and cancel out, no net jetlag.
  • therefore amerifurs should come to european furcons rather than vice versa

  • This wasn't a proposal for a european rail network, it's a rough transfer of the London Underground map to Europe
  • It does show that the eurostar would go from a lot of UK stations, a plan that was sadly cancelled

@foone The sign "Remove the last diskette" got me thinking of a concept super early for diskette era machines: Was there any multi-disk program that when not installed to a hard drive and having multiple drives in the machine supported reading from multiple drives in parallel, akin to a raid setup?
