@anduril If it's okay ... in English? I was in Tirana last year talking to someone from Albania (who could well be on the chaos.social). A young woman. She told me about how bad it actually is, because a lot of intelligent young people leave to build their lives elsewhere because of a bleak future.

Does no longer allows people to open .ODT files? Have, a few times, had to safe .ODT files as .DOCX via LibreOffice so that Word users could open it.

.ODT is an open source file format, so its a deliberate choice for Word to not be compatible.

Why do people pay for a shitty product that lacks such basic functionality?

@gombang @jkn @fmy @ncoca Strange stuff. Rightclicking + open: opens it in LibreOffice after a warning to check if the document is from a reliable source plus the notification that the administrator does not allow this action (although we could even choose a Linux laptop where I work).
Just clicking it triggers the same warning, but is won't open.
After that it simply does not open anymore. I can however save docx in odt. 🤔
