Started using @golang for simple command line tooling instead of Typescript. So far enjoying it very much, I think it’s bye bye to (cli/serverside) Typescript for me.

@yth @golang and to be honest, I’d find anything more amazing than the possibility to ditch in the frontend development and get it replaced by something better structured than just countless onion layers of patches that endlessly try to fix themselves instead of providing added value!

@yth @golang I know, I’m dreaming :) I don’t have experience with Go, never had but I was always fond of Ruby syntax and how gently it treats various data types and string operations. It was just not so robust to me regarding performance and infrastructure and I got curious about #crystallang trying to fix that, while inheriting baseline from #ruby. This is just POC to stay curious. i’m aware that #rust, #golang and even #elixir are more new wave,popular while #zig and #crystal have their niches

@sjvn ignoring the link.. but that's easy.. go nfl.com and search for One Pass. All one needs is to pay a heck for a one game show! But usually amount is less than the money one pays one good evening in a bar... so.. what's the problem?

@sjvn Correct. it also works with Apple TV, so can be streamed to TV as well. that's actually the only legal option I have while outside US :>

    @darth I started BG3 on Sunday. Opening was great and powerful, but then I'm a big confused as this is Divinity Original Sin with D&D mechanics. I love the die rolls but it's all concealed by the massive try end error to discover the right order of battles to continue exploring. Which is fine if you're used to Original Sin games, but this is not my memory of Baldur's gate in more free roaming exploration and massive battles that are rather quick to resolve than tactically analyzed.

    So the Vine–Matthews–Morley hypothesis says that new crust is created by cooling of magma at mid-ocean ridges, and since the magma goes through it's curie point as it cools, it ends up recording the current polarity of the geomagnetic field. As the magnetic poles flip over time, this means the sea floor contains a bunch of different magnetic field directions, going back and forth and thus recording the historic days of the magnetic reversals.

    I have recently upgraded my XboxOneX with an which made the whole interface as snappy as Series UI is. Not to mention double the speed of loading everything. Combine that with a fresh next gen dashboard released yesterday and I got myself one amazing 6TF console.

    @darth Good to see Xbox's UI doesn't look so Windows 8 anymore. That whole Metro UI Design was Sinofsky's biggest fuckup that dragged a lot of other MSFT products down.
