Oh the irony, it's actually really hard to read the original proposal for the by Tim Berners-Lee because it was written with Microsoft Word for Mac.

Kids, stay away from proprietary file formats if you want to access your work in its original form in a couple years.

So finally: I don’t have an x account anymore. Even didn’t have to delete myself. After 15 years they simply kicked me out. Official reason: impersonation.
I guess I was too much myself.

@hans Yeah, really annoying. If you wanted to give some kind of "proof" of your identity without giving them your ID, maybe you have a news article somewhere in a reputable media that links to your domain name and your twitter account? That might be sufficient to prove your "identity".

Been playing around with for some weeks. It's extremely good at detecting electronic devices that just want to be discovered.

Tonight, I found out that my neighbor is using an Oral-b series 6 toothbrush, because Home-Assistant sent me a notification that I could add a new device to my dashboard.

I can now track when my neighbor uses his toothbrush, how long does he brush his teeth, the vibration mode he prefers, and when he needs to recharge it.

Bit of a long shot here, but I have real distinct memories of an old movie or TV show with a gang of crooks (e.g., bank robbers or something -- a crew) wearing these old-style transparent face masks.

Can't for the life of me find it. All I can find in image search are Point Break (presidents), Dark Knight (clowns) & some dumb Netflix show. That or "Halloween"/"The Mask". Because search sucks these days. None of those are it.

Does that ring any bells?
