I (emphasize on:) tried to see if #ChatGPT4o could possibly be helpful at an annoying kitchen task - converting US recipes to measurements I understand.
The initial conversion left me a bit confused - it had 2/3 and 1/3 cups of honey, so surely, there should be a 2x relationship after the conversion?

Turns out you can't trust this confidence scam for anything.

Okay, I grudgingly bought a #Sonos system years ago because it was just convenient.
The latest update is terrible and breaks all local features - no library, no local services, all search goes to their servers. (Even though they explicitly stated ~2 months ago that v1 search would remain.)
Whatever their business model is it doesn't seem to include customers.

Now what do I replace it with?

1. Does it support rebroadcasting a line-in audio source for multi-room? That'd be enough to get my TV audio to the other rooms.

2. I have a fairly powerful NAS I can run the "main" instance on and would just need the actual RPis as audio relays. Is that topology somehow supported?

Als Leihwagen hatte ich diese Woche einen Fiat 500X und der wollte mich nur ein paar Mal umbringen. Fortschritt!
Der Spurassistent hat oft die temporär eingezeichneten und normalen Markierungen nicht richtig auseinandergehalten und dann recht kräftige Lenkimpulse gesetzt plus hektisches Piepen.
Und natürlich auch "Hände ans Lenkrad" wenn ich es fest im Griff hatte. Temposchilder waren auch zu 60%+ falsch.
Aber klar, autonomes Fahren, das kommt sicher bald und sicher.
