@gernot I feel bad because I never gave it a real chance because basically in none of the projects I work on worked beyond the state of being a blank new Xcode project.

Who are these people who willingly add AI generated imagery to their blog posts? Do they really think it's actually good? Or that it adds anything?

@thomasfuchs I don‘t know, in my LinkedIn timeline there are more and more people writing posts (which read as if they are written using some LLM) and adding photos to their posts that are definitely AI generated. It sucks and I skip those posts once I notice the obvious.

@icanzilb I guess if you're on headphones calling a similar experience, however typing messages is really hard due to the size, and in my experience fighting Siri when trying to dictate a message is also more of an adventure than just typing on an iPhone.

    @isotopp zumal mittels Erweitertem Datenschutz auch iCloud Drive (und evtl. dort liegende Daten der Schüler:innen) auch E2E Encrypted sein kann.

    Datenschutz ist mMn (wie alles) nicht Schwarz oder Weiss sondern es kommt wirklich konkret auf die Bedrohungsszenarien an, und wie du schon sagst wurde da einfach voll versagt.

    Ärgerlich dass der Datenschutz für alles herhalten muss, selbst für die geballte Inkompetenz die Daten via Backup zu schützen.

    pünktliche züge? fahrradwege? internet? generell: infrastruktur? ja lol ey. mittlerweile rechne ich einfach damit, dass das alles in deutscheland mehr schlecht als recht, wenn überhaupt funktioniert und es macht mich traurig, mit welcher selbstverständlichkeit ich das tue.

    und noch viel trauriger macht es mich zu sehen, mit welcher sturheit sich diese gesellschaft weigert, in infrastruktur, aber noch viel wichtiger: in zukunft zu investieren.

    das wird uns so hart auf die füsse fallen.

    @gernot @zeitschlag ich habe ja manchmal das Gefühl dass und unsere „Meisterhafte Ingenieurskunst“ immer wieder auf die Füße fällt, wo wir glauben dass, wenn etwas nicht ausreichend verkompliziert wird, es als nicht hochwertig erachtet wird.

    @phranck @ricobeck someone told me when we were discussing about where to get stickers printed, a google query actually yielded quite a few results and there was some NGO site listing names and donations to parties/candidates. There was also some sort of publication/newspaper which stated/backed this but I'm not sure where/what it was :-( Been a while already.
