A report card from year 10. It reads in part: English, Grade A, Dana is a very able and talented student who does not always give of her best. This failure to invest much energy in her English prevents her from achieving her full potential although this is not the say that this work is of an inferior standard. Also, Mathematics (Advanced), Grade A, Dana is a keen student but her work lacks discipline. She has a lot of ability but this needs further development.

Hearing protection when working with loud tools - what do you use?

Are these auto-muting ones good? They seem like a good idea, but how is it in practice?

My problem with hearing protection is that tool use is intermittent but I don't want to be deaf and oblivious the whole time. Nor constantly pull them on and off (or worse, in and out).

Everyone has to pick their hobbies and priorities and while i was always close to 3D printing i did not try it out myself and don't have a printer.

But now i am looking for some vacuum cleaner / dust extractor parts that need to be printed.

Is anyone of my followers deep into 3D Printing and would be in to print something for me? (Surely i'd cover the costs)
