I installed "The Battle for Wesnoth" three days ago, and I really like it! I finished the "A Tale of Two Brothers" campaign, and I'm in the middle of "The South Guard".

حالا ک بحث خودکشی شد یادمه یبار کارورزی داشتیم اورژانس یه بیمارستانی...دختره قرص برنج خورده بود خونوادشو بترسونه...دیگه کاری نمیتونستن واسش بکنن همه میدونستن که تمومه...گریه میکرد میگفت غلط کردم گه خوردم تو رو خدا یه کاری بکنید! هیچوقت صداش از گوشم نمیره بیرون...اکسپایر شد شبش!!!

در مورد مسمومیت ها به نظرم هر چقدر آگاهی کمتر باشه بهتره.
اینجوری امکان مسمومیت به خاطر ندونستن خواص دارو کمتر میشه.
مثلا افرادی که اطلاع ندارن داروهایی مثل آزیترو یا بنزودیازپین ها رو میخورن که زیاد مهم نیستن ولی اگه یاد بدی بهشون میرن چیزایی مثل همین قرص برنج میخورن

مسئله ای که در این مورد هست با توجه به حرفای استاد مسمومین خودمون میگم که اصلا دلیل افزایش مسمومیت با قرص برنج همین اطلاع رسانی بوده.
قبلا کسی خبر نداشته در مورد این قرص ولی ظاهرا اخبار رفته یه گزارش تهیه کرده از چند تا دختر شمالی که تصادفی مسموم شدن با قرص برنج و فوت شدن و همین شده منشا گسترش مسمومیت قرص برنج
قضیه شبیه قضیه HTLV1 توی خراسانه. سانسوری در کار نیست ولی وزارت خونه ترجیح میده از بولد شدن مبحث خودداری کنه!

I decided to test and install today, and it's awesome! But I can't use sounds on my system! It's not related to pipewire or alsa or something like this (no sound output recognised). I think it's because of sound firmwares for my laptop! Can anyone tell me where can I find the package name I need to install because I have no idea about sound drivers!

I think I've finally understood how (and by extension Nix) work. My knowledge of Guile Scheme is still veeery minimal and that's what I should put further effort. I most probably will write a blog post about the journey and what I've learnt so far.

I think if I didn't have the help and support if a good friend, I would have never managed to grasp the ins and outs of Guix. Unlike Nix, there are no good tutorials for beginners on foreign distros. I might be the one who partly fills this gap

This playlist on youtube is awesome. It just says what is written in documentation, but it's definitely the best tutorial for guix out there!

Yesterday a good friend of mine helped me to understand and toy around with Gnu in a VM as I'm very hesitant to add anything to my daily driver machine. All things considered, I'm >90% convinced.

But here is a question for the friends and the community: What are the advantages of Nix over Guix (apart from number of packages)?

P.s: I'm going to have it on an Arch-based machine to add reproducibility to my projects. It will not handle my OS packages.

I'm agree with "Inconsistent nix cli". When I installed Nix sometime ago, I had no idea what was the best way to install a package in Nix! But about package number, most of the packages in guix start with emacs- and are originally emacs packages! So I think removing them from package count will give us a better comparison!

Creating a desktop environment from scratch will be cool! Did you install and configure a wm before? Creating a desktop environment is like that! You need to create all necessary parts yourself instead of just installing a third-party app to do it for you in a window manager!

@Naadiyaar Or you can just change your current debian theme, add some useful packages, change the name and the icon of debian, create an iso from your system, and congratulations! You have a debian based distro!
Something like creating a website without knowing even a line of HTML!

As a person who learned a basic level of clojure and guile scheme before and now is learning haskell, I can say the haskell books are really incredible for explaining the functional programming itself (as a theory)!
Though most of them have at least 600 pages!

برام عجیبه که چرا هاست لینوکسش با پشتیبانی از پایتون و رابی و پی‌اچ‌پی و... این‌قدر ارزونه!
از ۲۵۰ هزار تومن در سال شروع می‌شه.
یادمه چند سال پیش که دنبال هاست پایتون بودم، ارزون‌ترین چیزی که پیدا کردم، ۳۶۰ هزار تومن بود؛ اون موقع!

برای searx که رو لوکال هاست بالا بیار بهتره. حتی اگه دبیان داری پکیج searx در مخازن تا جایی که به خاطر دارم هست. برای بقیه ش هم حتی اگه هاست اشتراکی از پایتون پشتیبانی کنه چیزی مثل سیناپس (برای ماتریکس) رو نمیتونی نصب کنی چون تعداد زیادی دستور کامند لاین داره تا نصب کنی

من با ansible راه اندازی کردم و خب غیر از خود کاندویت، چیزهای دیگه ای هم نصب میکنه مثل المنت و postgres و خیلی چیزای دیگه! و اینکه وقتی کاربر وارد گروهی بشه که کاربرا و پیاماش از سرور های مختلف زیادی هستن فدریشن باعث مصرف زیاد منابع میشه و علاوه بر این کاندویت، به بلوغ کافی نرسیده که بتونه چنین فدریشنی رو به طور بهینه انجام بده. همه اینا کنار هم باعث میشه که مصرف منابع توی ستاپ من به خوبی انجام نشه!

Does anyone know where can I find the source code for v3?
I read in issues that conversions v3 already uses material design 3, but the source code doesn't have that in dependencies in master branch.
