Anti-trans activists like to pretend that they care about kids. They will spout all kinds of nonsense about how dangerous puberty blockers and HRT supposedly are for them.

Yet, most of them know full well the sort of suicidal rates you get among trans kids who are not allowed to transition.

They don’t care about kids: they’d rather have dead kids.

With Apple's support for digital IDs still nowhere to be seen outside of the US, I've taken a look at France's digital ID app on the iPhone, which was made publicly available earlier this year.

The app is a strange, frustrating mix of physical and digital that says a lot about the issues that inevitably get raised when a state wants to take their IDs digital without Apple's help.

Emmanuel Macron has been president for 7 years now, and I can’t think of a single thing that he’s done that deserves the slightest bit of praise.

So, while I realize you’re in a whole other ordeal with the state of things in the US, I really wouldn’t use Macron as a political figure to look up to if I were you. He may seem alright from afar, but he’s an asshole and a fucking fascist.

The EU has announced that iPadOS is now subject to the DMA just like iOS is. https://www.macstories.net/news/the-eu-pulls-ipados-into-the-dma-fray/

I have a feeling that the potential for alternative app marketplaces is possibly even greater on the iPad than it is on the iPhone.

I'm also curious to see if this encourages browser makers to ship their own browser engines, now that they don't need to maintain a separate WebKit version for the iPad in the EU.
