I wish people would stop linking to X as if we all have accounts and can see the full context and conversation surrounding any post. it’s pretty much a mess if you’re not logged in, I don’t understand why anyone is still using it as a place to announce important things.
like, when the cops arrested Wesley Lowery in Ferguson it was a Big Deal, but now since the cops have realized there’s actually no legal penalty for arresting journalists (there isn’t, seriously), they do it pretty regularly.
