We wanted to support a limited amount of packaging formats for the first release, since it helps with development and testing. Adding a packaging format never comes for free and it can have unforeseen impact on parts of the application. Flatpak support will be considered as we develop the app further. Sharing a link will only display the file or folder they link to.

However, the shared folder will display all files and subfolders, so always double-check your links before sharing them.

▶️ Read through emails faster – when you take action on one email, the next one will now be shown automatically. You can enable this feature from Settings (“Jump to next email”).

🗓️ See main calendar event details in the invite email itself, thanks to our new Calendar widget.

☑️Check your availability simply by tapping on the invite widget in the email – it will take you straight to the app.

@Kdude Hi! You can modify the font in your system settings, and the app will respect the global setting on your device. As an alternative, you can also zoom in the app, if some message is displayed with a small font.

@protonprivacy please make a flatpak build of your new desktop client for Proton Mail. It'd be great to be able to easily install it in a sandboxed environment, regardless of what Linux distribution you're running. I appreciate the deb and rpm builds, but I greatly prefer flatpaks so that I can control what parts of my systems can be accessed by the applications I run.

Is there anything unsavory about ProtonMail?

For some reason I have it in the back of my mind that they were at one point accused of being a honeypot for US intelligence because of their association with MIT. Probably complete BS, but maybe not. Are they as open source as they claim to be? Looks like they’re on github. F-Droid seems to think they have some Google...

A year and a half after moving my email to a custom domain on @protonprivacy I am finally deleting all 74,050 messages from my old Gmail account. The Proton services have definitely matured over that time and feel more stable now.

Now if only there were some way to get my Android phone to default to using Proton contacts for everything.

Very happy to see that now the Android Proton Mail app supports conversation (even if the "conversation" concept is still broken in Proton Mail in general).

That being said the update was a giant mess. It completely logged me out and I missed timely notifications for emails I was waiting for. Then there was multiple Notification called "Emails" in the Android Notification panel thus reverting my notification sound to the default one... Had to uninstall/reinstall to fix
